Sobre mí

Hago fotografía callejera en Montevideo, mi ciudad.

Mucho antes de empezar a fotografiar ya me sentía atraído por lo que sucedía en la calle, de hecho tarde mucho tiempo en conectar calle con fotografía.

No salgo con un plan ni con una idea preconcebida en cuanto a lo narrativo, dejo que la calle cuente su historia y me apropio de las escenas que me resultan interesantes.

De todos modos, y a pesar de no tratrarse de una búsqueda deliberada; al revelar mis fotos surgen escenas, encuadres, sujetos y temas que se repiten. A raíz de ese proceso se decantan las series de fotografías que forman parte de esta web.

Formo parte de @colectivoyeca, el primer colectivo de fotógrafos de calle de mi país.

I'm street photographer in Montevideo, my city.

I felt atracction with street long before that I started shooting, it took me a long time to connect street and photography.

When I go out to the streets I don'have a plan or a preconceived idea, I let the street tell the story and I appropiate the interesting scenes.

Anyway, and despite not being a deliberate search, often in my photos the scenes, frames, subjects and themes seem to repeat themselves. As a result of this process, the series of photographs that are part of this website are chosen.

I´m part of @colectivoyeca, the first street photographers collective of my country.
